Teacher Certification
Pennsylvania Approved Program
If you have a bachelor’s degree, you can gain a teaching certificate by completing professional education courses mandated by Pennsylvania and completing the Teacher Intern Program (TIP) with at least a 3.0 GPA.
Susquehanna University is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to provide the program. In addition to offering many certification subject options from arts, business and sciences to languages and special education, Susquehanna offers an English as a Second Language (ESL) add-on certificate and a master’s degree program.
Once you are accepted into the teacher certificate program, you may earn a salary while earning education credits and teaching under supervision.
