牧师. Lamont Anthony Wells is the executive director of the Network of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Colleges and Universities. He is the immediate past national president of the African Descent Lutheran Association, which is the largest ethnic population in ELCA-Lutheranism.
牧师. Wells is a graduate of Morehouse College and the Interdenominational Theological Center, 都在亚特兰大, 乔治亚州. It is his vision that this lectureship will encourage and promote dialogue on ethical thinking in all areas of academic preparation and contribute to successful personal lives and professional careers upon graduation. Mr. Schmidt has named the lectureship in honor of his late parents, 爱德华年代. 和一个. 丽塔施密特, 前身为Willow Grove, 宾西法尼亚, recognizing that the first teachers of ethics and moral behavior are parents. 爱德华R. Schmidt, SU Emeritus Board member, received his B.S. in Economics from 浩博体育app and graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1972. Mr. Schmidt is a retired partner of the Indianapolis based law firm, Krieg DeVault, 律师事务所, where he chaired the Tax-Exempt and Nonprofit Organizations practice group and served as a member of the firm’s executive committee.
